The first day of spring may have officially arrived on March 20th according to the calendar, but at PokerStars it starts this Sunday May 2nd when the Spring Championship of Online Poker All Stakes online poker tournament series comes into full bloom!

The 2010 edition of PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker – All Stakes (SCOOP) runs from May 2nd through May 16th and with 38 events scheduled and a $45,000,000 guaranteed combined prize pool, this is one online poker tournament series you won't want to miss!

With millions of dollars on the line, the SCOOP online poker tournament series offers something for everyone including poker games of Holdem, Omaha, Stud and even popular mixed games like HORSE and 8-Game. But the game varieties aren't the only thing players get to choose from, because each of the 38 scheduled events will have three different buy-in levels: low, medium and high. That means that no matter what size your poker bankroll, you too can become a SCOOP Champion!

The PokerStars SCOOP action will spring to life on May 2nd at 13:00 ET with Event #1: the No Limit Holdem 6-max poker tournament with a buy-in of $22 for low, $215 for medium and $2,100 for the high.  And along with the three buy-in levels, go guaranteed prize pools ranging from $500,000 up to $1 million. On May 16th the series culminates at 17:00 ET with the two-day No Limit Holdem Main Event where the low buy-in of $109 will have you playing for a $1 million prize pool, a medium buy-in of $1,050 has a $3 million prize pool and a high buy-in of $10,300 will get you a seat to play for a whopping $5 million! But don't let the buy in to these events discourage you from playing in the Main Event or any other tournaments in the series, because you can satellite your way into a seat for just pennies!
